Lightly peated spirit initially matured in an ex-Bourbon cask before being transferred into a cask made of English oak for a finishing period. It’s particularly rare to see casks made of English oak as all of the oak trees in England are protected, so casks can only be made when the trees come down due to legal felling or if they’ve come down due to the weather. Bottled at 54.3%ABV.
