The latest release from Chorlton Whisky is here, and it’s the last one until 2022. This outrun consists of two bottles, with this one being a 13 year old Speysider from the Glenrothes distillery. Due to stipulations in the use of the distillery name, the name ‘Glenrothes’ could not appear on the front of this label. This expression has been fully matured in a second fill ex-Sherry butt for 13 years before being bottled at a massive 64.6%ABV. Lots of sweet chocolatey Sherry influence, but also with a citrusy backbone. This one really takes water well.
